North Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the energy sector for skilled and motivated power supply fitters / energy technicians to join exciting projects in Eastern Norway. As a power supply fitter with our client, you will become part of a strong technical team working on high‑voltage installations, substations, cable systems and overhead lines – with excellent opportunities for professional growth in a company that’s expanding.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for an experienced and qualified Power supply fitter to join our team. Ideally, you hold a DSB-approval for skilled worker within the sector. You have a strong practical mindset, are proactive, and focus on safety and quality in everything you do.
As an Power supply fitter, you’ll work outdoors every day, regardless of weather conditions. The job involves climbing masts, handling heavy equipment, and performing maintenance on high-voltage power lines. You should be in good physical condition and enjoy working in varied terrain.
Safety is our highest priority, and we’re looking for someone who is calm, structured, and practical. The job involves high-voltage lines up to 22 KV, so you must be able to stay focused and keep a cool head during challenging situations. You will need to work efficiently and safely, especially when handling power outages and fault rectification tasks.
You are comfortable working independently but thrive in a team environment where clear communication and collaboration are essential. You approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset and appreciate the structure and pace of project-based work.
Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain high‑ and low‑voltage power systems

Work on substations, overhead line networks and cable installations

Troubleshoot faults, conduct repairs and document deviations

Erect poles/masts and string power cables
-
Prepare and file technical documentation according to company routines
Qualifications
-
Trade certificate (fagbrev) as a Power supply fitter or equivalent electrical qualification
- Strong English skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to learn Norwegian language through our language academy

Driving licence class B (class BE or C is an advantage)

Previous experience from the energy sector is desirable but not mandatory

High awareness of HSE procedures and strong system understanding

Approval from the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB) is mandatory
