As part of its commitment to cutting-edge technology, the company is making another significant investment into the PATH Autonomous Kit, the winning technology of the European Land Robotics (ELROB) convoy competition in 2024.
As a Software Engineer at Rheinmetall Nordic AS you will be specializing in software for Robotics and Autonomy systems. You will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative AI-driven solutions. You will work on exciting projects that challenge the status quo and contribute to the advancement of autonomous systems. Helping to develop the next generation of products for the defense sector.
In turbulent and challenging times, we are proud to develop high technology and high performing systems for existing and future defence needs. You will be part of our new team Nordic Advanced Land Autonomy Centre of Excellence.

Our main office is located at Nøtterøy until summer 2026, after that we will be moving to newly renovated offices in Skoppum, both in Vestfold, Norway. The position can be located either at our main office, or our office in central Oslo, Solli plass. This will depend on the background and preference of the candidate.
