Om stillingen
Join our department for Human and Organisational Factors (HOF), where we combine applied research with industrial projects. We explore the interaction between people, technology, and organisation to contribute to the development of safer and more efficient operational processes. Our largest activity is a major international research program in nuclear safety, where we investigate human behaviour and teamwork, both in our simulators and in the industry. We also apply our expertise across industries to address challenges in both the private and public sectors.
About the Position
We offer a unique opportunity to work with applied research, contract research, and consulting projects, thereby bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry. You will contribute to developing solutions that have practical significance for businesses while working on exciting, interdisciplinary research. We are looking for candidates interested in one or more of the following areas:
Desired Qualifications and Interests
Work Environment
IFE is subject to the Security Act, which includes requirements for the organisation’s management of critical national information, as well as other relevant legislation concerning the management of sensitive information. On this basis, it is a prerequisite for employment that the applicant is suitable from a security perspective. Note that relevant applicants will be asked questions that are necessary to ascertain this. This includes questions about any ties to countries that the Norwegian National Security Authority (NSM) has classified as a ‘high-risk country’ in its open threat assessment. Background checks are performed as part of our recruitment process.
We view diversity as a strength in our work. We therefore encourage all qualified candidates to apply regardless of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion and ethnic background. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the position.
FE offers a highly skilled, motivating and multidisciplinary work environment, and is part of a wide-ranging international network within research and industry. Salary is based on the degree of experience and formal qualifications. Membership is established in the collective-group life-/accident insurance and in the DNB Pension Fund.
