Vard Group extends the focus on digitalization of our value chain. The target is to continue to strengthen the existing foundation of data and systems, to enable new functionality, new technology and new ways of working. The VARD IT organization consists of 70 employees globally, with 40 located in Norway.
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Specialist for our Shipyard Solutions in VARD. The position will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing VARDs Shipyards Solutions and the use of AI and robotics in VARD's applications.

So – what are your skills?
You will be part of the Application Operations team in VARD IT, providing support for mission-critical shipyard systems. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in IT, suppliers, and key business stakeholders to ensure efficient, secure, and user-friendly system delivery. In this position, you will contribute to planning, implementing, and supporting solutions in close collaboration with business areas and vendors. Additionally, you will leverage advancements in AI, robotics, and automation to enhance our applications. The position reports to the Head of Application Operations, Vard Group Digital Innovation & IT Department.
