dScience is looking for a driven senior advisor in innovation. The position is 100% with a start date of 1 Feb 2026 and an 11-month commitment specifically linked to the externally financed project: "A road map for academic research-intensive innovation from the Center of Digital Life Norway".
dScience – Center for Data and Computational Science – at the University of Oslo is an interdisciplinary centre developing and supporting research within computational science and data science across the University of Oslo, delivering important contributions to the green transition of society and industry, and developing groundbreaking collaborations between academia, businesses, and the public sector. dScience is a dynamic and growing center for research and innovation. After the project period ends, there may be opportunities for continued engagement in related roles.
The position is challenging and varied, with both strategic and operational tasks. The coordinator will work closely with the other senior adviser, the centre's management, research projects and other partners, including industry and policy-makers. The position provides the opportunity to achieve a visible position within life science innovation, both nationally and internationally and to help shape innovation strategy.
The center currently has two office communities, one at Kristine Bonnevies hus at Blindern and one at Forskningsparken. dScience is affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Oslo.
Operative tasks will include
Some travel within Norway and potentially internationally is expected.
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences has a strategic ambition to be among Europe's leading communities for research, education and innovation. Candidates for these fellowships will be selected in accordance with this, and expected to be in the upper segment of their class with respect to academic credentials.

All candidates and projects will have to undergo a check versus national export, sanctions and security regulations. Candidates may be excluded based on these checks. Primary checkpoints are the Export Control regulation, the Sanctions regulation, and the national security regulation.
