ROV Pilots and ROV Technicians Needed for Offshore Assignments
People Haugesund is looking for experienced ROV pilots and ROV technicians for both sporadic and fixed rotation offshore assignments. Our clients require skilled professionals for various projects, including long-term engagements with a 2/4 rotation schedule for approximately one year. There are also excellent opportunities for permanent employment directly with the client.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking candidates with proven experience in ROV operations (piloting) or technical maintenance and service. Whether you are a seasoned professional or looking to further develop your offshore career, we encourage you to apply.
You should have a background in:
Offshore ROV operations (Work Class or Observation Class)
Technical work on ROVs – mechanics, hydraulics, electrical, or automation
Responsibilities:
Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ROV systems offshore
Repair and testing of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Planning and execution of operations in collaboration with the team
Working in either a 14/14 or 2/4 rotation, depending on the assignment
Qualifications:
Experience with ROVs is a mandatory requirement – either as a pilot or technician
Technical background in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical, or automation
Experience with Argus Mini, ROX ROV, or T4 manipulators is an advantage but not required
Valid offshore certificates as per current requirements
Strong communication skills – proficiency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is required
