Project Completion Engineer – Handover Coordinator

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Completion Engineer – Handover Coordinator to support the RFOC handover of commissioning packages. The role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality technical handover to the Operations organization through structured coordination, documentation control, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate RFOC handover of commissioning packages.
• Ensure complete and correct documentation is prepared for handover to operations.
• Plan and maintain close dialogue with the operations and receiving teams.
• Prepare for and participate in walkdowns and handover meetings to verify completion status and documentation quality.
• Ensure technical documentation meets quality standards and is suitable for end users in operations.
• Act as a coordinator and driver for progress across disciplines and suppliers.
• Contribute to structured, system-oriented completion and handover processes in line with project standards.

Qualifications

• Technical college diploma or engineering degree within mechanical, electrical, automation, or similar disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience from MC and Commissioning activities in oil and gas projects, preferably offshore and/or power from shore projects.
• Strong experience with punch handling, MC processes, and completion systems such as PIMS.
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary completion processes and system-based handover.
• Familiarity with relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, IEC, or similar.
• Experience with project hotel solutions and PIMS is an advantage.
• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and engage project teams.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented with strong execution capability.
• Confident in the role of coordinator and driver of progress.
• Strong HSSE awareness and quality-focused mindset.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Norwegian.
