As a senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of general accounting functions, including account reconciliations, financial reporting, compliance with Norwegian GAAP, and supporting audits and tax processes and play a key part in our business on an everyday basis!

👑🚀Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Norwegian accounting principles.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting colleagues.
• Liaise with external auditors and compile audit documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate VAT and tax submissions.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the Norwegian financial landscape.
• Solid understanding of Norwegian accounting and tax legislation.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as Fortnox or Visma.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Fluency in English at a professional level.
