A temporary position as Research Technician (SKO 1514) is available at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo. This full-time position is funded for a duration of two years.
We seek a technically skilled person to assist our lab manager in serving, maintaining, and coordinating our laboratories and technical infrastructure. The Cognitive and Translational Neuroscience Core facility (CTNC) is a key component in this infrastructure. This position will be a collaborative effort between CTNC and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Rhythm, Time, and Motion (RITMO).
The appointed technician will be part of a small support team working between labs, but with a main responsibility for fMRI, fNIRS, EEG and Eyetracking based data collection. The technician will thus serve a range of projects within the area of cognitive neuroscience.
CTNC is a UiO Core Facility providing infrastructure for experimental research at the Department of Psychology.
RITMO is a Centre of Excellence funded by the Research Council of Norway. It focuses on rhythm as a structuring mechanism for temporal dimensions of human life. Researchers at RITMO work in a unique interdisciplinary constellation, with world-leading competence in musicology, psychology/cognitive neuroscience, and informatics.
The position may be assigned other tasks if needs and interests of the Department’s activities so require.
